Recovery runbook

If something breaks, where to look

  1. Source of truth is github.com/ProjectFluencia/pf-docs. Cloning that repo restores every doc.
  2. Auto-derived docs (DOC2 schema, DOC4 edge functions, DOC10 characters, Ship Log) rebuild themselves on the next push or 06:00 UTC nightly cron — no manual recovery needed.
  3. Authored docs (DOC1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9) live as .md files in the same repo. Edit, push, the pipeline syncs new content to Google Drive within ~90 seconds.
  4. Build failures alert via Discord (DISCORD_WEBHOOK_CRITICAL_ALERTS secret). Sunday 09:00 UTC posts a freshness digest if any authored doc is past its review cadence.
  5. All authentication uses Workload Identity Federation — no static JSON keys exist on any laptop. Revocation: GCP IAM → service account.
  6. If GitHub goes down or this repo is lost, the docs are still readable in Google Drive (human fallback) and in Claude.ai project knowledge (AI conversation fallback).
