1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Spanish Succession™ ("the Service"), operated by Project Pilot Studios, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. Users between 13-17 years old must have parental consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

2. Service Description & AI Disclaimer

Spanish Succession™ provides AI-powered Spanish language learning through conversational practice. The Service includes:

• Access to AI conversation partners based on subscription tier
• Episode content and learning materials
• Community features and beta participation
• Progress tracking and personalized recommendations

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Keep your password secure and not share your account
• Notify us immediately at hello@spanishsuccession.com of any unauthorized use
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Termination: We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in harmful behavior, or abuse the Service. Terminated accounts may not be eligible for refunds.

5. Subscription, Billing & Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance on your signup date
• You can cancel anytime through your account dashboard
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

6. Voice Recording & Conversation Data

By using our AI conversation features, you explicitly consent to:

• Recording of your voice during conversations with AI characters
• Transcription and storage of conversation content
• Analysis of conversations for learning insights
• Use of conversation data to improve AI responses (anonymized)

You can request deletion of your conversation history at any time through hello@spanishsuccession.com

7. Usage Limits & Overage

Each subscription tier includes specific conversation minute limits:

• Minutes reset monthly and do not roll over
• Overage charges apply at $0.10 per minute after limit
• We'll notify you at 80% and 95% usage via email
• You can upgrade your plan anytime to avoid overages

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or abuse AI characters
• Share your account credentials with others
• Reverse engineer, copy, or scrape our technology or content
• Use the Service to harm, harass, or offend others
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide:

• Account Information: Name, email address, password, age verification
• Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe (we don't store card numbers)

• Voice Data: Voice recordings during AI conversations

Information Collected Automatically:

• Usage Data: Features used, conversation duration, frequency of use

2. Voice Data & AI Conversations

Retention: Voice recordings are converted to text and original audio is deleted within 30 days. Transcripts are retained as part of your learning history unless you request deletion.

• Personalize your learning experience
• Remember you across conversations (AI memory feature)

  • ElevenLabs: AI conversation processing

We NEVER sell your personal data to third parties.

Refund Policy

Our Commitment

We believe in our product and want you to love Spanish Succession™. If you're not satisfied, we'll work to make it right. However, as a beta service, please understand certain limitations apply.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All new subscriptions come with a 14-day money-back guarantee from your initial signup date. If you're not completely satisfied within your first 14 days, contact us for a full refund of your first payment.

• Applies only to first-time subscribers
• Must request within 14 days of initial signup
• Overage charges incurred are non-refundable
• Account will be closed upon refund

Monthly Subscriptions

After the 14-day guarantee period:

• Cancel anytime before your next billing date
• No refunds for partial months after the guarantee period
• Unused minutes do not roll over or qualify for refunds
• Overage charges are non-refundable once incurred
• Service continues until end of current billing period

Technical Issues

If technical problems prevent Service use:

• Report the issue within 48 hours of occurrence
• Provide details about the problem and affected features
• We'll work to resolve it or provide appropriate credit
• Extended outages (24+ hours) may qualify for pro-rated refunds
• Beta-related issues may not qualify for refunds

   • Reason for refund request

3. We'll respond within 3-5 business days
4. Approved refunds processed within 5-10 business days
5. Refunds issued to original payment method only
